Vikram “Vik” Patel, Founder, Managing Director, graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science in 1996.
Vikram Patel is a technologist with 20 years experience in technology, e-commerce, web development, web hosting and IT consulting.
Vikram Patel currently serves as Director of Implementation and Technical Services at Radixx where he is responsible for managing the implementations of all new clients and heads the technical services team for all existing clients. He is one of the leading contributors on overall product technology strategy and infrastructure, technology processes, and delivery services with clients around the globe.
He is heavily involved in extending the reach of travel providers by creating travel distribution technologies such as internet booking engines, online check in systems, web portals, third party API interfaces, credit card processing system and payment gateway interfaces, a touch screen point of sales and kiosk system, enhanced GDS (Global Distribution Systems) connectivity and interfaces, and CRS (Central Reservations Systems).In addition to the airline industry, he also specialized in the development of travel related technologies for the hotel, car, cruise industries from beginning to end. He has completed large projects involving low cost and regional airlines related to data transfer and migrations from traditional legacy systems to current new technology systems.
He has developed full-scale project scope, deliverables, plans and business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. He has established project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion using Agile Methodologies and/or Scrum and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
He has served in several capacities including Director of Technology, Manager of Web Development,Product Manager and Senior Software Engineer/Technical Lead. His vast past experiences in various technology projects brings him to Viksar Consulting Group.
Sarju “Sarj” Patel, CO-Founder, Managing Partner, graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors Degree in both Business and MIS in 1999 and attained his MBA in 2004.
Sarju began his professional career working in sales with The Greater Orlando Chamber of Commerce where he began building his large network throughout the Central Florida Community. After spending two years with the Chamber Sarju entered the Workers’ Compensation market as a Sales Director at Solantic Urgent Care. Solantic provided Sarju with an introduction to Workers’ Compensation and after two years he decided to bridge his knowledge of Workers’ Compensation and enter the HR Outsourcing Space.
In 2005 Sarju worked in sales at Compupay where he represented the ASO Payroll outsourcing model selling to small and medium size businesses. It was at Compupay where he developed a strong foundation and understanding of the benefits of business outsourcing.
After two successful years selling ASO payroll services Sarju recognized that the PEO model better fit the needs of his hotel and hospitality portfolio and in 2005 joined PES. Sarju spent 2 years successfully selling PEO services with a strong focus on the large hotel and hospitality community in the Central Florida area.
In 2009 Sarju left to start a consulting firm that catered to various business needs. Due to the nature of the economy and the market stress on his core market he decided he could better serve the needs of his clients by offering products and services that would allow them to be more productive and efficient through business services, management services, and renewal energies. This led to the creation of VikSar Consulting.
